Who we are

O Regulatory Decree No º 1/2026, of 21 January, restructures the Strategy and Planning Office and establishes the Directorate-General for Coordination and Planning (DGCP) of the Ministry of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security.

The DGCP's mission, within the scope of the tasks pursued by the MTSSS, is to technically support the definition of the respective strategic priorities and the policies that support them, to ensure the technical activity of international relations, cooperation with the Portuguese-speaking countries, as well as budgetary coordination, the organisation and management of the ministry's internal resources, and to evaluate the respective results.

The core structure of the DGCP It was defined by Ordinance No º 278/2026/1, 29 June.

the flexible and functional structure of the DGCP; Order No º 11270/2026, of 14 September, creates the necessary conditions for the effective exercise of the powers entrusted to the services.
