Bilateral cooperation

With regard to bilateral cooperation a intervention of the DGCP/MTSSS, which has been more regular since 1998, falls into three areas of intervention, which fall within their respective areas of activity:

–Axis 1 – Democracy, rule of law and human rights
area of expertise:
  • Institutional Empowerment - Human Rights
–Axis 2 – Human development and poverty eradication
areas of action:
  • Social protection and social inclusion
  • Employment, vocational training and industrial relations
  • Institutional empowerment
–Axis 3 - Rights of the child
area of expertise:
  • Institutional empowerment

Geographically have been supported on a regular basis projects in:

  • Angola
  • Cape Verde
  • Guinea-Bissau
  • Mozambique
  • São Tomé and Príncipe
  • Timor-Leste

on Areas such as:

  • Employment
  • Vocational training
  • Social protection
  • Industrial relations
