Complaint Channel
A Law No 93/2021 of 20 December 2021 establishes the general framework for the protection of whistleblowers of breaches, transposing Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2019 on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law.
In compliance with the law, a whistleblowing channel was set up:
- It guarantees independence, impartiality, confidentiality, data protection, secrecy and the absence of conflicts of interest in the processing and analysis of reports received, and in any case the whistleblower is protected against any form of retaliation, and also has the possibility to submit anonymous reports; e
- It will adopt a position of responsibility, independence and good repute in receiving, investigating and handling complaints.
If the report is anonymous, we will not be able to ask for further clarifications, which could prejudice the outcome of the investigation. Before reporting, we recommend a careful reading of theLaw No 93/2021 of 20 December 2021.
